Just Flex is a thick viscosity gel used to easily repair broken nails. It can also be used to create 3D nail art.

It’s not advisable to create a full nail out of Just Flex; however, it’s an essential tool for quick, strong nail repairs. This can be used quickly to repair any gel extension or natural nail break. A basecoat must be used when using Just Flex.

The nail should be prepped as normal by removing surface shine and cuticle, and a basecoat should be applied before the application of Just Flex.

Just Flex should last as long as your regular gel manicure lasts. 2-4 weeks.

To remove Just Flex, you must file any product on the nail, including the fix and flex to a thin layer. Wrap in a foil soak wrap and acetone for 10 minutes. This should remove easily with an orange wood stick.

Just Flex is a putty-like gel used to repair and strengthen broken nails. It’s harder and less flexible than other systems, making it ideal for keeping splits and breaks stable. However, Just Flex should not be used to build a full nail. Take care with the amount of product you use, as it can build up in thickness quickly, which isn’t necessary. Only a small amount is needed to create a strong, secure repair.

Your Just Flex could be lifting if you have not used a suitable basecoat or applied fix and flex too thickly, and an under-cure has occurred.

Cure in your lamp for 1 minute LED, 2 minutes UV.

You cannot complete a full nail infill with Just Flex, but you can infill with your usual product over any Just Flex repairs you have done. Just remember to pop a basecoat underneath it.

TOP TIPS
For Working With Just Flex
- Avoid over-working the product, it will go sticky and lose shape.
- In warmer weather, a fine mist of water (from a spray bottle) helps with manipulation.
- Do not use IPA or cleanser, these make the product stickier.
- Always wear gloves; do not mold directly on skin.
- If Just Flex gel struggles to adhere, lightly buff the nail surface before placement.
- Always topcoat your design, flexi gel leaves a slight inhibition layer.
- When applying chrome powders, use a no-wipe top coat or chrome gel over the Just Flex gel for best results.
- Using a brush or orange wood stick to shape flexi gel is easier, silicone tools can stick to the product if overworked.
